I've had this downloaded for ages and only just tried it. Been missing out, this game is amazing. Being able to customize the soldiers is great too. Already fond of a few of them. My sniper especially as they have saved a couple of the others with very well placed shots at important moments. Thought i was going to lose my heavy earlier who i'm also fond of but thankfully had my sniper on overwatch in an elevated position and the alien lost its brain instead of my guy. How many of you guys have played it?

It would be perfect for you mate. It can be a very intense game but as it's turn based and relies on tactics instead of running and gunning etc your wrist wouldn't get in the way, and with it being turn based you can put the controller down at any point, useful when there's a new baby in the house :-)

XCOM and XCOM 2 are a couple of the best yet most frustrating games I have ever played. If you screw up the game lets you know about it.
The combination of tactical play and certain missions are time/turn constrained means that if you make a wrong move you will get punished for it.

Going to show my age here, but I player it way back in the day on the Amiga. Loved it back then, hated it back then. It's one of the most satisfying and frustrating games to play. Bought it when or was only a tenner ages ago, and only really played it properly twice, and all those feelings of love and frustration came flooding back.

I remember it, but never played it. They other game I want to get for nostalgic purposes, and I also believe it's fantastic is Elite: Dangerous. Played the original and Frontier: Elite, again both in the Amiga.
