Which ones are good in your opinion, and which are perfect for the games? A good soundtrack can be one that just sounds good. One that's perfect is one that doesn't only sound good but fits the game perfectly. For example some of Destiny 2s is very good but is mismatched at times, sounding overly epic for fairly mundane moments gameplay wise. Mankind divided's OST fits the game like a glove though (all in my opinion at least). What about you guys?

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
Metal Gear games in general have always had some seriously gorgeous music, but this one wins every time for me, the music suits everything well. Awful game though, I can't parry in it.

Metal Gear Solid 2's opening music, as well as the title screen music for Medal of Honour: European Assault were spellbinding to me as a wee nipper, sneaking downstairs in the dead of night to put on the PS2 and listen for an hour or so before actually playing the game itself. I also really enjoyed several tracks from the TimeSplitters series, but only a few tracks were impressive, across all three major installments. Mother. Fucking. DOOM (2016, certainly). I have that playlist on YouTube for angry tenks. |
