I've been trying to get outside this Fall when the weather permits (it's been inordinately rainy this Fall) and I've taken some pics with my phone during walks with the wife and dogs. The river in all pictures in the Mississippi River that winds in and out of the area up here (it's source is 60 miles from here). I hope you enjoy and share some of your Fall colors (colours for you Brits  )-

No good pics of fall colors. How about some Ohio winter wonderland yesterday morning?  Wet snow and 50mph winds knocked a tree onto my power/ phone lines. It was just high enough I could drive my Jeep under it. I was able to get it off of the lines without pulling them down or getting killed!   |

I think we had another 15"-16" last week to bring us up over 66" for the year so far. I'm heading down to Des Moines tomorrow (7hr drive) ahead of another storm. Can't wait to see the snow banks gone. |

Nice views today, sunny and 60* F. Beautiful day.    Fun fact, in the last picture those mountains are called "The Three Sisters" and the mountain on the farthest right is an active volcano that they expect to erupt sometime in the not too distant future. There is a fourth mountain called "Broken Top" a bit to the left of the leftmost Sister, but was obscured by the mountain that's barely in frame. |
