AW is not without its issues, but if Mail.RU doesn't totally screw it up it will have several advantages over WOT. No stale small maps (no tier X's on Widepark) and they'll be fresh maps to new players. Less class balance problems. Far more advanced PvE. And perhaps most importantly, no 12-year-old console holding back the game's progress.
I think people are severely underestimating the effect this is going to have on the PS4 playerbase thinking that because Armored Warfare did not effect PC WOT much it will be the same in the console arena.

I'll be grabbing AW when it comes out, mostly out of curiosity. It will be interesting to compare the 2 games. I tried Warthunder for a bit, but preferred WOT. Something cool (to me) rolling out a Sherman, or Tiger or a T34

Think I'll be getting a 2nd hand PS4 to play AW, WG are getting so pathetically bad these days that they don't even deserve my stat towards how many have been playing. |
