I'm not in the clan yet, think i have to lvl up a bit more, just unlocked Campaigns. That's really kind of you mate but i wouldn't want to ruin your stats in any. I hear you're very good at it, i'm very much still learning the ropes. I learned something new today, getting hit by badly aimed friendly torps is really annoying. 2 of Murphys Laws 1.Friendly Fire isn't. 2. Incoming fire has the right of way.

You can play Co-op if you want. In a way it would probably be better than getting a Bismarck into a tier 10 Random battle this early in your career. But I don't care, they're just stats. If you want to wait until you have a few more games under your belt, that's fine too. The offer is open. And yeah, friendly torps aren't. I didn't know that co-op could be played at any tier, that's quite good. I'll hold off until i reach the level where i join the clan, then if it's still ok with you i'll take you up on the offer for an hour or two (wouldn't want to keep you from sinking ships yourself :-) . Thanks, you guys are all really generous.

You can play tier 10 in coop if you want. You're welcome to it. I'm not worried about the time either.

R3ST, As far as I am concerned, the clan is yours. It is The Bunker after all. So let me know whrn you can, and I will delegate full clan authority to you, leaving Kaito as deputy commander to assist. Add me to your friends and we can do some coop or randoms and work on your basics. Itll be easy for you once you get it. It isn't too different from Tanks actually. You are always welcome to my account, i have a few prems and lots of premium time, but I spend most of the time working, so I dont play too much on my account. Feel free to try out all my ships, including Warspite

I'm getting clubbed atm due to experienced players being in low tier due to Brit BBs. Not going to lie i'd love to take Warspite for a spin ( just in co-op though). HMS Hood is in the game but they're charging a fortune for it, are prems ever earnable via ops like in WoT?

Some premiums are offered on ops, but usually when they first roll-out if I remember correctly. They do have sales/discounts fairly regularly however, so it pays to watch for those. Also, you stand a chance of getting a premium in a super container.

I wish WoT gave us something akin to containers, let alone super containers, seems like a great way to keep people playing. The K. Albert hds been a life saver btw, it really helped with the Kaiser grind. According to youtube the Kaiser isn't regarded highly so glad it wasn't just me who didn't like that German tier 4. The Konig is meant to be pretty great though. Can't wait to get on later. If any of you see me on feel free to join/invite :-)

If you're looking to pick up gameplay tips and why you should/shouldn't do certain things, I highly recommend watching a CC called Flamu. He's a bit cocky for some people, but I like him. He also streams on Twitch most days from around 10am CST to 4pm CST. Times are subject to change I guess...but he really talks about why he is/isn't doing certain things. YouTube channelTwitch
Also, I recommend playing the Public Test Server when it's available. You are given lots of gold/credits/Free XP and can play almost any tech tree ship in the game. It's great for getting an idea of what lines you do/don't want to grind. I can tell you it renewed my interest in the USN cruiser line! Sign up with the same e-mail you use on your main account and you can even get some premium time/flags as rewards. Register/Download PTS

And iChaseGaming is another decent youtuber to watch for some of his "how to" videos in is back catalog. I thin he called the series the Captain's academy.
Flamu is great. Cocky as heck at times, but always has good points, and sometimes funny as all get out. His review of the Orion he posted this week had me laughing and agreeing with his point of view.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, watched a few vids from them today. Still need to work on my map positioning but i seem to be winning a fair amount, around 58% atm, i just need to up the damage. Watched IChase's aiming tutorial, the very next BB i came across detonated with my first salvo, he wasn't impressed lol but that vid really helped, landing more shots now whereas before a couple would hit and the rest would just land in water.

Take your time, lead your shots, and unless you are absolutely point blank, never fire a full double click broadside in a BB. Firing each gun individually seems to be significantly more accurate, and insanely damaging, not to mention you have a more continuous barrage of fire at your target.
As far as I have read, it seems RNG calculates each individual shot for accuracy and damage, where as a full double click broadside is much less accurate, as RNG treats it as a single shot. Each shell will have a greater degree of dispersion, giving less of a chance of a hit.
A double click broadside with Fuso may hit for 10-15,000 on average. Each shot fired individually by holding the left click down, will hit for around 4,000 a shot if properly aimed. 6 turrets times 4k damage a turret. It more than doubles your damage output.
Having said that, if you have a clean shot on a broadside cruiser from less than 8km's, double click. If you are SURE you wont miss. Watch him explode in a massive fireball and break in two as he sinks.

I didn't know that, thanks for the heads up mate, i was firing full or nearly full salvos so i'll start firing individually instead when at range. I sometimes fire by accident which is a bit annoying but i'm playing on a laptop that has one of those touch pad things, and when i try to change where i'm currently looking, it fires. Never good lol, having to try and not be so heavy handed. Is there any way to lock where my guns are pointing, so i can look around without the guns themselves moving guys?

The right mouse button activates free-look, leaving your guns locked on whatever bearing they were pointed at.
My laptop allows me to turn off my touchpad and use a mouse so I'd imagine that's a pretty universal option.

Just logged on to find 79,902 free xp on my account. Does completing ops award freakishly high amounts of free xp or something? I'm a bit confused.

Honestly have no idea. The good news is you're well on your way to the Nelson! I forgot about the Nelson, although even with an 80k headstart i imagine earning her would take a long time. I've had a good look and have no idea how i managed to get the 79k xp, but, incase it was a weird glitch i spent it quick lol before WG realise and t ake it, and have a very nice, very powerful fully upgraded Bayern in my port, that just clutched a nail biter of a battle for me. She's a powerful BB, and due to reaching tier 6, and thanks to Dio's refer a friend thing, just got the USS Texas for free. Not used her yet but i'm hoping she's good :-) Courtesy of yourself, Dio, and random free xp i now own some powerful ships, thanks you guys :-) , and WG for the xp i guess, bit random.

Nice. Tier 6 is rough according to most people, but I enjoy it. I'll see if I can jump on this afternoon. My tier 6 cruisers would love having a big German meat shield.

I'll have to wait and see i guess but so far as long as i keep this ship angled well she gives as good as she gets. I'm fine with being a meatshield mate.

You used a "play together" invite link, didn't you? If you just played a T6 game that's what gave you the 80k free xp.

I didn't have a TT tier 6 prior to getting the xp, but i did use the Graf Spee, so that might have done the trick, although the Texas didn't show up until i used the Bayern (that i used the xp to get).
