So apparently I can run WoWs on max graphics at 75 fps consistently. Awesome. I'll be happy to run at medium settings at 30fps. Right now I struggle to maintain 15 at lowest settings, and see as low as 8 when it turns into a knife fight. |

So now I'm one of those guys. I purchased both the High School Fleet ships, the Graf Spee and the Harukaze. Don't worry, I have absolutely no intention of jumping into even a co-op battle in them until I learn the game sufficiently, so I'm not going full retard and screwing my team over. But my question is, how should I set up my captains? My Graf Spee came with a 6 point captain, and my Harukaze came with an 8 point captain. |

The only skin I've seen so far is the skin it has by default, which would probably be the only one I would run as that's how it appeared in the anime. On another note, have they ever said if the Arpeggio ships are coming back? I'm interested in acquiring a few of those as well. |

Spee is a fun ship by most accounts. Slow for a cruiser, but decent armor, and those 11 inch guns can wreck another cruiser's day.

IMO Harekaze does the best with the middle hull, but that requires IFHE to do well (because 100mm guns shatter ever on DD hulls). Right now I have Priority Target, Last Stand (a must on all DDs), Survivability Expert (extra 2,800HP at T8), Concealment Expert, and IFHE. The first 4 are the basic DD first 10 points, IFHE specifically for Harekaze 4-10 hull (and Akizuki). If you want to play with the 11-12 (which gets 3 single barrel USN 127mm guns) then you could skip IFHE if you don't want a dedicated Harekaze 4-10/Akizuki captain. For the GS - you are pretty open. You can do a basic KM cruiser build (don't need IFHE b/c of German 1/4 pen) or a Scharnhorst/concealment BB build. Priority Target, Adrenaline Rush, Superintendent, and Concealment Expert would be my recommended first 10 points. AR over EM because 25s turret traverse isn't bad and Superintendent for an extra heal. |

Even at "15fps", if there is shooting, manoeuvring, exploding and torpedoing occurring, the framerate will tank to 6fps and torpedoes seem to refresh at half a frame per second  |

My laptop lags all to hell if there is too much going on. It can get pretty bad during operations when a lot of aircraft are overhead, or a lot of torps are being spammed.

Guess I shouldn't mention that I run the game at max settings and 60fps (including Ultra on the sound, which is amazing with headphones)... Just overclocked my PC and edited the config.xml file. So far mine is holding a stable 144 fps. |

I bought five of the French containers. Noteworthy items were 1000 doubloons, 5 of the collection items, ten Wyvern signals, 25 of the obnoxious French camos, and most importantly, the Bretagne and Normandie missions. So, I'll start the French battleship line at tier VI. For me anyway, it was worth it.

Think of it like WoT, in a sense. A tank that is still alive is a tank that can shoot its gun. Its the same for this game. |

Got 1 shot by BB's at least twice last night in my Phoenix, and 1 time in my German tier 4 cruiser. I know I got out of position a bit but it was a rough time for me yesterday lol. I do try and not go off alone but some days it seems like I have a giant screw you ruthless flag on my ship |
