Just finished task 2 today. Pretty sure I won't be getting the Bismark through this event. But, I've been enjoying the camos and flags I've been getting in the containers.

Nevermind. Not a constructive comment. Now I'm even more curious. I got detonated 3 times in 3 games in a row. I was typing something a bit, well, salty in regards to what WG can do with their "fun and engaging" mechanics that involved wrapping it in barbed-wire, dipping it in hotsauce, and inserting it in an exhaust port, but that would have been crude.... |

FTFY I never run the det flag in random battles so that I'll have them for ranked. But then I remember that the det mechanic is very stupid in general and I shouldn't need det flags ever. I understand that IRL detonations happened, but it's a terrible gameplay mechanic that adds nothing of value. Last week I detonated a cruiser when my Tirpitz secondary hit him - there's no way he went back to port thinking he got outplayed. Again, I do see the premise behind detonations, but the way they are in the game right now I don't feel like they add anything of value. |

The most annoying part about it was all 3 were first wins of the day on 3 different DD's I'm grinding. C'est la guerre.

I've only detonated once, in the tier 2 Russian DD, but I agree. The detonation mechanic can go fuck itself.

I was playing my Iowa a couple months ago, a Yugumo popped up out of nowhere. My secondaries detonated him in less than ten seconds from 6km away before he could get a single torp in the water  |
