At the moment i'm working my way through a few Tier 8's, by the time i unlock the Tier 9's (probably next week) i'll have somewhere between 50-70k free XP saved up.
Which one of these would you use it on?
M103 - skip to (120mm, stock turret) 50k
E75 - skip to (105mm, stock turret) 51k or maybe (105mm upgraded turret) if i get to 76k
Waffle 4 - 87k to either final package - forget this one it's probably fine stock
AMX 30 1er - skip to (stock turret, 105mm) 79k
WZ-111 1-4 - skip to (upgraded turret, 100mm) 48k
I'll try them all out stock, but i'm interested which one you found the worst stock grind.

M103 - It's unplayable garbage until you get the the turret and first 120mm gun.
E75 - Complete shit until you get the upgraded turret.
Waffle IV - lol 'Stock grind' with 246/311 pen.
AMX - No idea.
WZ-11111111121111-4 - Stock turret is painful, but once you've got that upgraded it's pretty smooth sailing.

E-75 because the stock turret is just a giant weak spot on top of the tank

Pretty much all tier IX's have horrible stock grinds. Mediums especially tend to be useless stock.

Yeah, i thought that would be the case.
I didn't really enjoy my Conqueror, Cent 7/1 or T-54 until i got the final packages. The Lorraine 40t was fine as i'd already played through the AMX 50 100.
I'm hoping to finish the Lorraine off before the end of the month and pick up a discounted Bat-Chat 25.

WT auf Pz IV's grind is cake. There is no grind to it at all.

I ended up using my free XP on the E 75 and WZ-111 1-4 to get the package before the upgraded turret (about 25k to the turret on each). I've been doing alright some games where people don't notice the weak turrets, other games i've been taken out very quickly.
Waffe IV is fine stock as i thought, AMX 30 is ok stock as it has speed to flank but i've still got the stock 90mm (24k to the 100mm and tracks).
I've just got the T32 to finish (about 15k XP left) then all of my grinds are at Tier 9.
I ended up finishing the Lorraine 40t off and getting 20% off the Bat-Chat.
So far i'm enjoying all of these tanks.

Can't see what the problem could be, tier VI gun against tier X's? or I could use the 88. It's going to be like the panther II grind but even worse. basically a heavy with a shit gun. |

I've picked up the M103 too now, it's pretty bad with the stock gun.
I might build up the free XP to skip to the first package (50k), if i get fed up just doing daily doubles.

Definitely NOT the Waffle IV. Actually, you play it stock until you get the final upgrade. Don't bother with the first upgrade.

The contrast between stock and fully upgraded is the most pronounced I've experienced in the game. |

Yep, you guys are right. Quite a big difference. Weird thing is, once it's upgraded, I'm flying through the grind towards the E50M. I think I've gotten XP at twice the pace that I was before fully upgraded haha. I'm probably going to keep it as well, after I get the E50M.
