Ok boys & girls (And Apache Attack helicopters)... Sit back and enjoy the journey I took down potato avenue today. Let me set the scene for you : We were running a 5 man platoon of Snakebites on Arctic Region on Encounter. Tier 8 match, mostly tier 7's. I made my way to B 6/7 to watch for any YOLO lights to the flag as the rest of us went ahead to cover/light up the chokepoints at E2 & C1. I was sitting on the hill and began lighting up tanks and shooting them as they passed to C1 and attempted to come to the flag while the rest of my team moved to their locations. I put in several pens on passing tanks and lit a couple more up running to the flag. I then notice I'm being pushed down the slope towards the cliff. I see it's a green su-152 with the 152mm derp. I make it out just before he pushes me to my death. Being a little angry, I then block him from backing up and he gets obliterated after a few moments. The game continues and we start losing because pubbies. I circle a TD, I can't remember what it was, and finish off a couple other tanks that were slivered to almost no HP. We bring it back to 4-4 or so and I sit on the cap to draw out the snipers on F4. One of those happens to be a KV-2, who promptly shoots me for a couple hundred HP and tracks me. A red Snakebite beside him at F4 then shoots my tracks twice, causing no damage. At this point it's 3-3. I notice the red SB and a red Panther drop off the ledge at F4 and begin chasing me up the E line. I lose their spot and hide behind a rock to ambush. I jump on the SB and whittle him down while eating rounds in my tracks. Unfortunately his Panther buddy rolls up and face fucks me. While this is happening, I receive a message from the su-152. The match ends when our half-health IS-6 forgets what angling is and lets the SB and Panther shoot him without a shot in return. I end up with over 1,700 damage and 3 kills. Mr. SU-152 has 375 damage on 1 pen out of 8 shots. I read his message and thus starts a lengthy discussion, as shown below - To keep them from cluttering the thread (There are 32 pictures) I'll attach the link to the album. Take the journey...

I've only just come to this forum, found this thread, and I already love it lol. I wish I could get hatemail to this magnitude. Most of it is just "hacker" or "play a real tank". Nothing original lol.

When you run with the BNKR tag, that alone can catch you some hatemail. That just makes the salt all the better to me, though, it'd probably suck if you get Yolo'd to death because of it lol. |
