The O-I sure is big, i found a green one lastnight. it's like a mobile building. Yeah obviously we lost this game, lol.  Pic didn't load :-( how did the O-I perform? It was almost as wide as my T-34-88 is long when i parked across the back of it. It didn't do well, it was a Tier 8 game and all the 8's went valley and died  I did see a couple of them on the red team do around 2k damage when top tier. |

The O-I might be the new Kind of Derp. But I will never forsake my precious KV-2.
Keep in mind the Kaiju O-I premium only has the 105. The tech tree O-I is the one with the 150.

I think it's pretty much just the side of the hull above the tracks (70mm), and from the front just to the inside of the headlights (35mm). tanks.gg/wot/tank/o-i#tab:model |

I am up to the Tier IV right now and so far don't really care for them much. That may change when I get to Tier V from what I keep hearing though.

Yeah I've heard the line doesn't actually get decent until tier V. I've only played the tier 2 so far myself, got through it in 2-3 battles. It was playable, but it's also a tier 2, so it's not like you're stuck with it long either way. |

It was playable, but it's also a tier 2, so it's not like you're stuck with it long either way. I'm playing the Tier 4 at the moment, it's pretty bad even though it only sees up to Tier 5. I've got about 9k to get before i unlock the Tier 5. Every game in it i have to remind myself my Free XP will be much better used on the St. Emil... EDIT: 3 games later i've got that 9k, thank god for the fire and ice, bully and triple play OP's! EDIT 2: I don't think the Tier 5 is a keeper for me, it's ok top tier as some shells bounce, mid and bottom tier it's terrible too big and everything pens it. Just the engine to unlock then on to the Tier 6. |

Not for me. These giant mobile building, one shot kill heavys can suck it. Don't even want to play this game right now with this crap. I've had my 34 88 1 shot killed 3 times today already. These tanks have seriously just made this game unrecognizable. Rant over, I hate them!

The O-I is mind numbingly boring to play. I've played it fully upgraded with both guns and i prefer the 10cm.
At least now i know i don't need the Premium O-I as i'd never use it. I sold both the T71 and Panther as well so don't need them either, i'll roll a dice for the free Monster premium.
I'll keep the Tier 5 even though it has bad armour, it does 40 kph and i ended up doing very well in most bottom tier games, Top and some Mid Tier games are just funny.
So my Japanese tanks will be the Ke-Ho, STA-2, O-I Experimental and Heavy Tank No.6 (when we get it).

O-I is a easy mode KV-2 so far for me, it's hilarious when a KV-85 and a E8 bounce about 10 shells off the O-I's ass before getting nuked. The tier V was ok (22 battles 52 kills) but i didn't like it's armour that much and i don't really enjoy playing tier I-V. I might get the O-Ni today, not expecting much from it.

Ok so after my post I took a break from the game for a few hours and decided to try again. The sides of these tanks are where you shoot or the secondary gunners spots. They do alot of damage, and can take some too. At the moment all these jap tanks are top of the leader boards in xp. They are usually the one left standing at the end of the match. Maybe bc their slow, or alot of guys haven't figured out how to kill them. Once the newness of these tanks wear off some and MM doesn't have 5 to 6 in every game I think they will be easily destroyed. Not like you can hide behind a building or rock when it's bigger than anything else on the map. Lol. Good luck! I'm hunting you jap tanks.

Can't wait to get out of the type 95 tier 4 heavy, it is making me sad. Never seen a heavy that bounces nothing. Think arty has a faster shell velocity as well, given up trying to hit moving targets.
Looking forward to the tier 6 for sure, close range derp to the face
