For me, it's all about consistency.
I have some nights where I can get unicum WN8 and just wreck face like there's no tomorrow. Last night, for example, when we didn't lose and I had a 9:1 k/d and nearly 3k WN8. Then I have nights like Saturday, where damage is seemingly impossible to get, I get YOLOd in multiple games, or I just generally suck and go full tater. I get frustrated because I know I can do better, which of course makes me press too hard and things just spiral into a shitstorm of suckage.
Sure, everyone has off nights now and then. I just need to work on reducing them.

I tend to put my tanks into compromising situations to help out my platoon/team, to either protect them, or try to push a line. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. Should I stop doing it, probably.. Will I, probably not.. Dark I'm in the same boat. I play much better when I'm solo for some reason. I think part of it is the fact that I feel like I need to back my platoon mates, while when I'm solo I just say "screw these morons" and will fall back. Played a match today where the whole game was nothing but a tactical retreat. I was in my T49. I scouted well but my team mostly camped base. So then I took a shot and fell back until I was unspotted. I did this repeatedly. The whole time I was trying to pull the reds towards our campers. In the end our campers were killed and I ended up being the last green left. There was nowhere left for me to run. I had reds coming at me from three different directions. I ended up putting down about 2k dmg with no kills. The greens managed to kill two reds. If I'd been with a platoon I probably would have felt obligated to help them out in some no win situation and ended up being killed half way through the match.

I need to change how I play peekaboom and angling my armour. Sometimes I will end up way out in the open as well....usually doesn't end well for me.

Does platooning count as gameplay? Because by default that is what I need to improve upon the most, seeing as I appear to be one of the most troublesome people to try to get in a platoon with. Let alone that after taking forever to get into a platoon with someone if I have a monster game I can quite happily end it right there knowing that I wont be able to repeat that performance for weeks. Otherwise relying on team mates. Far too often I'll have 8 or so team mates staring at one enemy I've spotted, tracked and/or injured and I'll switch targets to someone I think is far more of a threat and find out I'm still being shot at by the muppet sitting in front of 8 team mates and watching the lot of them all sitting in some corner sucking each other off to see who's allowed to shoot at the enemy.

As a noob my biggest issues seem to be situational awareness and not knowing the maps.
I find that I can get way too far forward sometimes and I find myself with no room (or time)to retreat. I'm working on paying more attention to the minimap.
Learning the maps is one of the things I guess will come over time. I do wish there was a way to get into the maps in the training mode solo though. I could easily spend a few evenings exploring various maps looking for good hides and such.

I need to improve in many areas tbh but I think my main problem is going too far forward before I'm sure of what lies ahead of me. I'll go too far forward and suddenly I'm facing five enemies and I'm in a terrible position, and usually get wrecked quite quickly. I need to slow it down. I've recently been platooning though, which is new for me, and teammates have been good about telling me to fall back. That's my main problem imo. This is mine also. Having a God-awful time trying to walk a thin line between being too aggressive and too passive. I really struggle in finding the "sweet spot" of being able to do damage, but staying alive and just getting smoked. This is my biggest problem with the T95 op. Making it one of the most frustrating things I have done in a long long time
