Got the game on Thursday after a bit of pressure from a mate, seems really good but I'm only doing data and transport runs at he moment to get used to landing and manouvering. Pretty much paid £40 to become a space DPD driver. Beauty is it won't take too long before you can buy something like a Diamondback Explorer or Asp Explorer if you want to build up a ship and see the wonders of the Milky Way, like the most popular ones e.g Sagittarius A* Unless you want to build up a totally overkill war machine (like my all laser Anaconda) and go bounty hunting in Hazardous resource zones The game has a lot of possibilities of what you can do, trouble is you'll have to fill in a lot of gaps since the game doesn't have a very easily accessed and open story

That's pretty great for you then, if you ever want to go a bit larger, you could pick up a Type 7, it's a pretty decent early-mid game hauler and can be decent for mining

If you need a hand I can help you with my limited knowledge, I'm pretty much running contracts and mining at the moment though.

Pick a station in a sector and use that as a "home base" only travel 1-2 jumps away then head back and rep up with the factions in that station. Higher rep = Higher profit. Once you have your first couple of mil look into doing passenger missions.
As you progress through them you will find that on a single trip taking roughly 5 mins you can rake in around 8-10mil given the right contracts.

Hyroks is quite a good station to call home, it's got good ships and upgrades there for a beginner.

Played properly for the first time in a while, and wow have I missed my Fer-De-Lance, it's the ballet dancer of bounty hunting ships, it moves so effortlessly through the night sky.
Plus it helps with 471m/s boost speed (don't have access to the engineer that gives you G5 Dirty Drives)
